For Earth Day we read several books and then we worked together to create this. I found the idea online here:

The kids loved creating it!!! They were so amazed to see what we could create from trash. Afterwards they wrote stories in their books we have been working on about recycling. One student spoke from the view point of trash, saying, "Don't throw me away!" I can't wait to create something with my kids next Earth Day!
