As we continue our study of insects....

Today: Butterflies!

We read The Lamb and the Butterfly by Arnold Sungaard . Such a beautiful story and provides so much information about butterflies in such a short book! Eric Carle's illustrations are of course brilliant. Have any of you seen The Last Unicorn? The butterfly in The Lamb and the Butterfly reminds me so much of the butterfly in The Last Unicorn the way he always answers a question with a question.

       

Then we made stained glass butterflies to decorate the doorway. Feels very spring like!
