I love Halloween! It is probably my favorite holiday! The kids look so amazing! I love being at a school that lets everyone dress up. It is so much fun!
I am a Kindergarten teacher in a small Texas town. I am loving every second & learning more than I thought possible!

Jack-o-lantern Teeth Tens Frames
Found this super cute idea here:
http://doodlebugsteaching.blogspot.com/2012/10/silly-jack-o-lanterns.html
We created the pumpkins with a little twist during Math. We are studying making ten using tens frames so....Jack-o-lantern Teeth Tens Frames! The kids had a blast making these & did a great job. I cut the vines & leaves out of butcher paper & hot glued it to the brick----nothing else will stick! Both kindergarten classes did this. They were so excited to see their "pumpkin patch". I love hearing them tell their siblings & parents about it. So sweet!
We hung these up during Social Studies because we have been studying customs & traditions. Many students said their families carve jack-o-lanterns on Halloween. We created our own Kindergarten tradition of decorating this plain brick wall for Halloween. I can't wait until Christmas! I have lots of fun ideas.
